FLIR Thermal Imaging
INFRARED TECHNOLOGY

Thermal Imaging Inspections

See what the naked eye can't. Our FLIR thermal cameras detect moisture trapped under shingles, insulation gaps, and air leaks by measuring temperature differentials.

Detects:
  • Hidden moisture/leaks
  • Ponding water on flat roofs
  • Insulation deficiencies
Benefits:
  • Non-invasive
  • Finds problems before visible
  • No destructive probing
How thermal imaging works:

Moisture retains heat differently than dry materials. After a warm day, wet areas cool more slowly, appearing as "hot spots" on thermal cameras. This allows us to pinpoint leaks without guesswork.

Ideal timing: Thermal scans are most effective at night or early morning.

Combination: Often paired with drone inspection for complete assessment.

Moisture meter verification confirms thermal findings
